Simply Beautiful
This is the most detailed flash game I have ever played. At one point the walls were blackened due to the insane amounts of blood plastered on them. Every arrow I misfired stuck into the walls and stayed there until the round ended. Corpses and skeletons littered the hallways and rooms. The only things that didn't stick around for too long were the weapons but it was probably better that way so as to keep the frame rate steady and lag-free
Playing with everything maxed [quality-wise] with blood, gore and, gibblets on, I experienced no lag whatsoever. The character creation feature is expansive beyond anything else in this genre. The only problem to note is that for whatever reason, the hands got glitched causing me to see every hand design of every color rapidly flash before me
The enemy AI was relativly smart and I only encountered one glitch in the experience [medium-sized lab, middle platform: enemies can't seem to get there is you stand still. Artifact 19 can't get to them but it's a place to heal]
There is no single 'superwepon' and I could see the strategic value of each weapon in play. Ammo distribution was fare too. The proximity-mine launcher was very powerful but by limiting it's ammo, it keeps players from spamming it [as an example] Another great example is how the rebound shotgun doesn't do as much damage but how the bullets are able to hit enemies more than once.
This was a great game and I plan to play it more after finishing this review [in 5, 4, 3, 2 ...]
